I'm Selene, a hairstylist, originally from SF, and have been making Sacramento women look and feel their best since 2005.  ​

I've known that getting my hair done was a special experience since I was 5 years old... my mom dyed my long hair black because she wanted me to look like Cher (my mom LOVES her.)  I remember a lot about that day.  The way the hair color smelled, and felt on my head.  How good it felt when she washed my hair and blow dried it for me.  I learned that day that doing hair was a nurturing experience, an act of love from my mom to me!  I love the feeling of being pampered and I want everyone who sits in my chair to feel those feelings when I do YOUR hair.

 

I strive to combine beautiful hair and amazing customer service to provide the ultimate experience for you.​  Last year, I received an ICONIC award for Best Customer Experience, aka "Client Whisperer", which is a cute way of saying that my clients love me for going above and beyond customer expectations.  It made me so happy to be recognized for something I feel passionate about, and really work hard at!

Aside from my passion for service, I specialize in modern, blended, color and haircutting techniques.  Cut and color are common services that most stylists perform - what's different about me is my ability to focus on tailoring your desired look to your unique features, so you get the look you want, but also look like the BEST version of you.  I offer a signature service called Color Contouring, which essentially is 100% tailored color techniques that highlight your favorite features, and minimize your not-so-favorite ones.

As someone who struggles with frizzy, unmanageable hair, Keratin treatments have been a game changer for me, and I highly recommend them to anyone who could benefit.  I've been doing these treatments since the mid 2000s, and am proud to use and carry the best brand available.

When I'm not at the salon, you can find me at home relaxing with my 2 kitties, getting out into nature, practicing yoga, or having brunch with a friend.

​

I'm also a big self-love and self-care enthusiast.  I have a ridiculous obsession with essential oils, use them constantly, and LOVE to incorporate them into your treatments, for a special touch.  You'll notice from my service menu that I incorporate elements of self-care into my services, again, because you deserve it!!
