I'm Selene, a hairstylist, originally from SF, and have been making Sacramento women look their best since 2005.  I'm also the Artistic Lead/Manager for New Dreams Beauty Studio, a brand new salon I helped open in September 2022!.​

For us women, the salon is a special place.  We come to get beautified, but also to relax, get pampered, and treat ourselves!  At "New Dreams" we combine beautiful hair and customer service to provide the ultimate experience for you.

In 2022, I received an ICONIC award for Best Customer Experience, aka "Client Whisperer", which is a cute way of saying that my clients love me for going above and beyond customer expectations.  It made me so happy to be recognized for something I really work hard at!

Aside from my passion for service, I specialize in modern, blended, cut and color techniques.  Cut and color are common services that most stylists perform - what's different about me is my ability to focus on tailoring your desired look to your unique features, so you get the look you want, but also look like the BEST version of you.

As someone who struggles with frizzy, unmanageable  hair, Keratin treatments have been a game changer for me, and I highly recommend them to anyone who could benefit.  I've been doing these treatments since the mid 2000s, and am proud to use and carry the best brand available.

When I'm not at the salon, you can find me at home relaxing with my 2 cat babies, getting out into nature, practicing yoga, or having brunch with a friend.

I have a ridiculous obsession with essential oils, use them constantly, and LOVE to incorporate them into your treatments, for a special touch.
